Peace Education. Avoiding Conflict Escalation

 

It is easy to think that we live in a peaceful, democratic society and that war and conflict is something that rightly belongs in a by-gone era. However, the last few years have shown something else – religious, social and political conflicts are still prevalent in our world.

 

The aims of our training course are to raise awareness about the conflicts around the world and to provide you with important tools for conflict handling, prevention and solution.

 

The training program will include the following themes:
- Types and causes of conflicts
- Different ways of solving conflicts
- All theoretical input will be practiced and experienced through case work

Besides our informative training you will have the opportunity to:
- visit one of the most impressive and inspiring places in Germany: Konstanz
- spend your time with interesting people from all over Europe
- discover your own potential to work for peace
- and what’s most important – have a lot of fun!
